Hello, my name is Lucas and I'm a student at Chinook Middle School.
My life is a mix of music and sports. I have a passion for piano, oboe, and percussion, as well as a knack for squash and cross country.
When I first came to the U.S. and started attending Chinook Middle School, my biggest challenge was adapting to the new environment. Although my English was not as fluent as my peers, I tried ten times harder than others to overcome the gap. With perseverance and resilience, I was not only able to achieve good grades but also make many new friends.
I enjoy helping others and contributing to the community. At school, I actively participate in volunteer projects such as designing the school mosaic and decorating during special events. I also take part in community services outside of school. I collect and donate food to homeless shelters or people in need in Africa.
